Supplies I Use

Basics

X-acto Knife & Blades

This is the knife I use for eva foam and cutting out stencils. A pencil grip can be added for comfort. These blades last longer than the normal ones but still need regular replacement.

Glues & Adhesives

For eva foam, I mostly use contact cement. Super glue and accelerant is great for 3d printed parts and small details on eva foam. Hot glue can be used to glue or to reinforce seams in foam.

Eva Foam

I use a lot of Tnt Cosplay Supply products. They cover everything from large sheets of foam to foam clay, dowels, and cones. Sometimes, I also use the foam sheets from Harbor Freight.

Sanding

I use a Dremel rotary tool for sanding eva foam and 3d prints. I also have a flex shaft to give better control.

Misc

I use a Kershaw sharpener to extend the life of blade for a bit. I also use a heat gun for shaping and sealing eva foam. I wasnt able to find a link to my sewing machine(Brother xl-2600i), but I added a link to my serger.

3D Printers & Accessories

Creality CR-10

This is my go to printer for larger prints. It prints well and has been a great addition to my cosplay making resources.

Creality Ender 3

I have two of these. I mostly use them for smaller parts or if my CR-10 is busy with another print. They have amazing print quality and work well with no modification. I'd highly recommend these or the Pro version to someone looking to get into 3d printing.

Elegoo Mars

This printer uses resin and produces such fine detail that layer lines are almost invisible. The smaller build plate leads me to still use my other printers for most things, but when I need super fine detail I use this one.

eSUN PLA+

This is my go to filament. It's given almost no problems and works well around 210-215°C

Overture PLA

I also use this filament from time to time. It works best around 195-205°C and has a great surface finish. I would also like to point out that the spools are marked so that you can more easily estimate how much filament you have left.

Elegoo Resin

This is for my Mars printer. Its given zero issues and looks great after printing. It takes paint well and has worked the best out of the resins I've tried.
